Bixby, the arrival in Italy is set for 2018

The personal assistant made by Samsung still hasn't been launched in Italy, but the wait may be over: it will come out in early 2018

One of the big news of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is Bixby, the new artificial intelligence system developed directly by the South Korean company. Unfortunately, not all users who bought Samsung's top of the line were able to use Bixby: the personal assistant only supports English and South Korean languages.

Samsung for the moment has only released support for these two languages and has never announced when Bixby will become available for the rest of the World as well. At least so far. In fact, in the last few hours some news about the possible release of the personal assistant in Italy, Spain, France and Germany are leaking out: Bixby should arrive within the first months of 2018. A good news for all the users who have bought in these months the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy S8 Plus or the Galaxy Note 8, the three top of the range that support the new personal assistant.

Bixby together with the Galaxy S9?

Reasoning on the rumors that came out in the last hours, Bixby could be released in Europe in the same period of the Galaxy S9. Samsung usually presents the first top of the range of the year between late March and early April (some rumors had speculated the release of the Galaxy S9 even in January to counter the iPhone X, but it seems to be something really unfeasible) and among the features could have a personal assistant finally able to support all the most spoken languages. If the rumors follow the facts, Samsung would bring to the market a new competitor to the personal assistants of Google, Amazon and Apple.
