The Budget Law 2021 contains several new bonuses, among them there is also the Bonus TV 2021 for the purchase of a TV set or a DVB-T2 decoder.
On December 30, 2020 the Senate approved, definitively, the Budget Law 2021 that will bring to Italians a long series of bonuses and contributions for the purchase of specific products. Among them there is also the so-called Bonus TV 2021, which will make happy the regular viewers of digital terrestrial.
The new Bonus TV 2021 is grafted on the already existing one, provided by Law 205 of December 27, 2017, and goes to replenish its funds, initially provided for 141 million euros. Of these funds 25 million were intended for incentives for those who buy a new television or a decoder in DVB-T2 standard ne 2021. Con la legge di Bilancio 2021, invece, tale somma viene aumentata considerevolmente e questo vuol dire che molte più persone potranno accedere al Bonus TV nel 2021. Bonus TV 2021: cosa dice la legge
Il nuovo Bonus TV 2021 è contenuto all’articolo 614 della legge di bilancio, che recita:
“Allo scopo di favorire il rinnovo o la sostituzione del parco degli apparecchi televisivi non idonei alla ricezione dei programmi con le nuove tecnologie DVB-T2 e di favorire il corretto smaltimento degli apparecchi obsoleti, attraverso il riciclo[…] Per l’esercizio finanziario 2021 le risorse di cui all’articolo 1, comma 1039, lettera c), della legge 27 dicembre 2017, n. 205, sono incrementate per un importo di 100 milioni di euro"
Il meccanismo per ottenere il Bonus TV, quindi, è sempre quello della legge precedente, ma potrebbe cambiare l’importo perché al successivo articolo 615 la legge dice che
“Su proposta del Ministro dello sviluppo economico, il Ministro dell’economia e delle finanze, con proprio decreto, rimodula la ripartizione delle risorse da attribuire alle finalità di cui alla citata lettera c) del comma 1039, come integrate dal comma 614 del presente articolo, apportando le occorrenti variazioni di bilancio"
La lettera c) del comma 1039 della legge 205/2017 è proprio quello che disciplina l’erogazione del Bonus TV agli utenti finali, sotto forma di sconto al momento dell’acquisto. The bonus, therefore, could be either for more people or richer than in the past.
Bonus TV 2021: who can have it and how
Since only the funds and not the law are changing, the requirements and methods for obtaining the Bonus TV 2021 will be the same as those for the existing Bonus TV. Therefore, all families with ISEE not exceeding 20,000 euros (self-certified) are entitled to it.
The Bonus TV 2021 will be granted in the form of a direct discount on the price of the product at the time of purchase, applied by the seller. This means that even TVs discounted by the seller will be able to be bought with the Government's bonus. The discount is valid not only for the purchase of a TV, but also for a decoder for digital terrestrial television to be connected to an old TV, and is currently equal to a maximum of 50 euros.
