Since 3pm Fortnite is down and not allowing users to access their personal profile. Here's what's happening
Fortnite is down. If you can't access your personal profile, it's not the fault of your Internet connection, console or PC, but it's probably Fortnite's servers that are having problems. On two occasions, the Epic Games servers were not reachable: the first at about 3 pm, with a repeat a few minutes after 7 pm.
The disruption does not only affect Italy, but the whole world. This is not the classic weekly maintenance carried out by Epic Games: in this case, users have not been warned. Fortnite's technicians are already working to solve the problem. In fact, on the Twitter profile of Fornite appeared this message "Some players are currently experiencing issues when attempting to log in. We are investigating this and working to resolve it as soon as possible. We'll provide more information as it becomes available." In a nutshell, some users are reporting difficulties in accessing their personal profiles and technicians are investigating the source of the problem.
Why Fortnite isn't working on August 31
The reasons that are creating major problems for Fortnite users are unknown. The video game's servers are not responding and not allowing access. All the game modes are down: Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative. Epic Games, the software house that created the game, posted a tweet on the official Fortnite profile reassuring players: "We are aware of the problem. We will try to resolve it as soon as possible". We will follow the evolution of the situation and keep you updated.
Update 4:15 pm. The problem seems to have been resolved.
