Disney + also allows you to download movies and TV series to watch them offline. Here's how to do it on the app for smartphones, tablets and computers
Disney +, the new video streaming platform, landed in Italy on March 24 and has already had a good success. The catalog is very rich with content suitable for every type of user, but with particular attention to those dedicated to children and their families.
Finally, the films and TV series by Marvel, Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and National Geographic can be enjoyed through a single container. But the novelty is that you can not only watch them online, but also offline. In fact, users of the platform can download all the content they want on smartphones or other Android and Apple devices and on the PC. This solution is especially useful when you are away from home, perhaps during a long car trip, and you want to pass the time in a fun way. The procedure to do this is very simple, not to mention that the Download section of the app can be customized.
Download movies and TV series from Disney +: here's how to do it
First of all, let's emphasize that Disney + content can be downloaded on many devices: Apple and Android smartphones and tablets, but also on Amazon Fire tablets.
To get started, just open the Disney + app on your tablet or smartphone and tap the content you want to download. There is no limit on the type of content: it can be an episode, a movie, or even a documentary.
On the content screen, the "Download" item (the down arrow icon) appears next to the "Play" button and the download will automatically start. Per guardare ciò che hai scaricato e guardarlo senza connessione ti basterà accedere al tuo profilo tramite l’app. Qui, accanto al cerchio che raffigura l’avatar, ci sarà la voce “Download". Toccandola avrai accesso a tutti i contenuti scaricati e li potrai guardare anche in assenza di connessione.
Naturalmente questi passaggi sono consentiti solo a chi ha un abbonamento a Disney +.
Quanto costa l’abbonamento a Disney +
Abbonarsi a Disney + è molto facile. Basta scaricare l’app sul telefono o altro dispositivo e scegliere tra due opzioni:
- 69,99 euro all’anno
- 6,99 euro al mese
Si può revocare in ogni momento e, in assenza di disdetta, è rinnovato automaticamente. Inoltre, durante questo periodo si può usare il servizio gratuitamente per una settimana.
App Disney+: come modificare le Impostazioni dei Download
L’applicazione ti permette anche di personalizzare il modo in cui scarichi in contenuti. Per farlo, devi accedere al profilo (ognuno ha le sue funzioni personalizzate) e poi su Impostazioni App, toccando l’avatar in basso a destra. All’interno delle Impostazioni, troverai le seguenti opzioni:
- Scaricare solo tramite Wi-Fi evita che i download ti rubino i preziosi Giga a disposizione per la tua connessione dati.
- Qualità Download ti permette di scegliere tra alta, media e standard.
- Posizione di Download ti consente di scegliere dove orientare tutti i contenuti.
- Elimina tutti i download ti permette di cancelalre in toto i contenuti scaricati.
Vuoi eliminare un titolo dalla sezione Download?
Se hai bisogno di liberare un po’ di spazio per inserire nuovi titoli, puoi cancellare singolarmente i contenuti che desideri passando dalla sezione "Download" dell’app Disney +.
Innanzitutto, accedi all’applicazione e poi all’apposita sezione e seleziona il titolo in questione. Tra le varie voci, ti apparirà anche "Rimuovi download". By tapping on the button, the content will be immediately deleted and you will be able to enter new ones.
