A new feature in WhatsApp allows you to reply to received messages while hiding your status. Here's how to do it
The arrival of double blue ticks on WhatsApp has broken several friendships and caused thousands of people to fight. The read alert on sent messages is a very useful feature, but one that lets you know when a person is online and what they are doing at that moment.
The instant messaging app has rushed to the rescue by giving users the option to disable the feature and not show their status (online, last accessed). In this way, the double blue tick is not shown, but at the same time you won't be able to know if other people have read our messages. A necessary quid pro quo. Especially the information about the last access is one of the most controlled by users to know if a person is online. Just enter a moment to respond to a message, that immediately WhatsApp updates the time of the last access. With a simple trick, however, you can reply to messages received without showing that you are online. Here's how to do it
How to reply to WhatsApp messages from the lock screen
The WhatsApp staff is always working to implement new features. One of the latest ones allows you to reply to received messages directly from the application's lock screen. To do so, however, you need to have one of the latest versions of your mobile operating system (both Android and iOS). To reply to WhatsApp messages without appearing online you will have to do it directly from the notification. With the new feature, in addition to the message notification, there is also a button that says "Reply". Pressing it will open a space that allows you to write a reply message. Using this feature, one's status on WhatsApp will not be updated and our "spy" friend will not know our last login time. To make the best use of the feature, you will need to have your screen lock turned off.
