Just like other manufacturers, Huawei is also preparing to launch new smartphones in 2020. In addition to the Nova 6, there is also great anticipation for the Huawei P40, the new smartphone that will be offered in standard and Pro versions.
The official presentation is expected in a few months, yet already chasing unofficial news related to specifications and features. The latest is that the Huawei P40 will be released - at least in international markets - with Android 10 and EMUI 10 interface, but most likely without Google apps, starting with the Play Store. In their place the mobile services of Huawei, on which the company is investing tens and tens of millions of euros, even in Italy. The reason is very simple: the trade block wanted by Donald Trump more than six months ago and that for the moment forces U.S. companies to stop any contact with the Chinese giant. The confirmation came during an interview with Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's Consumer Business Unit.
When the Huawei P40 comes out
While the Harmony OS project has been put on standby, at least as far as smartphones are concerned, Huawei is preparing to launch its top-of-the-line smartphones on the market. Richard Yu leaked some official news during a recent interview in France. For example, he revealed both the time of year and the place where the Huawei P40 series will be unveiled.
It will once again be Paris the city that will host the official event planned for spring 2020. The executive spoke about the end of March, announcing that the device will have an unparalleled design and a unique photo quality never seen on the market. Performance has been the focus: from battery life to features and charging speed, functionality will take a major leap forward. In short, the P40 will be one of the most interesting proposals of next year.
Huawei P40, the technical characteristics
The Huawei P40 will be a top-of-the-line smartphone with a technical card appropriate to its level. On board will be the Kirin 990 with 5G network support, 8GB of RAM and at least 128GB of internal storage. Great attention is paid to the rear camera compartment, where as many as five cameras are expected, including a sensor of at least 60 Megapixels. In addition, the P40 should be the first smartphone to have a graphene battery, which guarantees a longer battery life.
To accompany the Android 10 operating system, there will be the EMUI 10 interface designed to increase the user experience to the highest levels.
