Coming soon, anyone should be able to promote their Stories, so that they appear in the feed not only of followers
The monetization of its services seems to be the main concern of Facebook in recent weeks. After the various updates that have changed WhatsApp in a rather decisive way, first of all the advertisements coming between WhatsApp Stories, Instagram also seems to be destined to receive important news in a very short time.
According to the latest news coming from the United States, the social-photographic platform would be preparing to introduce advertised Stories. Nothing new, I thought... But it's not like that: thanks to the new feature, anyone will be able to decide to publicize the Stories created in the last 24 hours, so that they appear in the Stories feed of other users, even if they are not followers. In short, the operation is the same as advertising posts, only that they will appear among the dozens and dozens of Stories that we view daily.
How to advertise your Stories
Unlike what happens now, the new feature should allow any user (regardless of whether it is an influencer, a company or a subscriber like many others) to advertise their Stories. You will be able to decide, of course, how long to make it appear and also choose the audience: this means that the Story will not only be visible to those who follow you, but also to other users who could potentially be interested in the content you usually share.
The other news for Stories
Advertising is not the only novelty that should affect Instagram Stories. According to other previews coming from Silicon Valley, soon Shazam should allow to share shazam songs as a story on Instagram, thus further enriching the functionality of the social platform owned by Facebook. In addition, users should also be able to share between Stories the content they have posted within their IGTV channel, taking advantage (if needed) of the ability to publish Stories without a 15-second limit.
