According to the latest rumors by the end of 2019 should arrive two new iPads: one 9.7-inch and a model a larger. Here's what they'll look like
Apple could launch two more new iPad models between late September and early October, but it's not yet clear whether they'll be new variants of existing models, updates to the range or completely new models.
What's certain, however, is that the Cupertino-based company has registered two more new codes (A2200 and A2232) with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). They are in addition to five other codes (A2197, A2228, A2068, A2198 and A2230) registered a few days ago and all refer to devices with support for iPadOS. These are, therefore, seven new iPads and will be compatible with the next version of Apple's operating system dedicated to the Cupertino company's tablets. When Apple registers a code, it is usually a short time before the announcement of a new product and, for this reason, there are many who expect a presentation event between September and October. However, given that the current iPad and iPad Pro range has both recent and dated models, it's by no means certain that these seven models will arrive all at once.
The two new 2019 iPads
Everyone is wondering what these last two new 2019 iPads will look like. The most likely thing, according to current information and some leaks in recent months, is that it will be a new iPad Pro and an update to the 9.7-inch iPad. The last iPad Pro model, in fact, dates back to October 2018, while the 9.7-inch iPad even dates back to March 2018. The time seems ripe, then, for an update of these two products. For the same reason, it is unlikely that we will see an update of the 10.5-inch iPad or the 7.9-inch Mini, since both were launched in March 2019.
What the two new 2019 iPads will look like
As these are rumors, in order to make more detailed assumptions, all we have to do is select the information coming from the most reliable leakers. According to the Twitter account CoinX, which is reliable despite concealing an anonymous person, the 9.7-inch iPad could be replaced by a model half an inch larger (10.2 inches) that would be called iPad 7. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who more than once predicted the future of Apple products, already earlier this year said that between late 2019 and early 2020 will come two new iPad Pro, the iPad 10.2-inch already described and a new version of the iPad Mini. As usual, this is all information that needs to be confirmed, but the code registration gives hope to fans of the brand: new Apple tablets will almost certainly arrive in early fall.
