During the IFA 2018 in Berlin, the brand owned by Lenovo presented the new Motorola One, the Android One smartphone with a 5.9-inch screen
Motorola took advantage of the IFA 2018 technology fair in Berlin to present the newest addition to its family: the Motorola One. As you can guess from the name, this is a device based on the Android One operating system and therefore with pure Android interface.
The Motorola mid-range stands out for its large Max Vision display with 5.9-inch HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. This is a fairly large screen designed for streaming, video games, reading documents or books and also for shooting 4K videos, thanks to the rear camera that supports this video quality in recording. As mentioned the device will run with Android One, the version of Android "clean", without customizations graphics made by various manufacturers (the same mounted by the Google Pixel, just to be clear) and where software updates are guaranteed for 18 months after the launch of the device. In the case of Motorola One, updates will be guaranteed for twice as long, so three years. The first to arrive, of course, will be Android 9 Pie.
Technical features Motorola One
Under the screen of almost 6 inches, the Motorola One hides the SoC Snapdragon 625, a quadcore 2.0 GHz, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. Powering everything is the 3,000mAh battery, which should last the entire day, even after a day of heavy use. To this is added the TurboPower fast charging system, which allows up to 6 hours of battery life in 20 minutes.

In the back of the device we find a dual camera with two 13-megapixel sensors, capable of recording video in 4K. The shots will be optimized by artificial intelligence while for selfies we find an 8-megapixel front camera. The rear sensor will support portrait, cinemagraph and time-lapse modes and we will also find Google Lens, the Mountain View app that for example, taking a picture of a dog in the street will help you discover its breed.
Motorola One: availability and price in Italy
In Europe the new Motorola One arrives at the recommended price of 299 euros. In Italy, the Android One smartphone will be available starting in the coming weeks, as stated by Motorola itself during the IFA in Berlin.
