Netflix, comes the TV series dedicated to Ayrton Senna

Comes the TV series about the Formula 1 champion considered the best of all time. It will be narrated by his family and composed of 8 episodes. Here are the details

"The life of a phenomenon, told by those who loved him the most". With these words Netflix Italy announces the arrival of a new TV series through the Twitter channel. The phenomenon is one of the most beloved characters in the history of Formula 1, Ayrton Senna, who lost his life in 1994 due to a terrible accident.

The goal is, not only to pay tribute to him, but also to allow younger people to discover his incredible life made of challenges, records and important awards. This year Senna would have been 60 years old and so he could have told his story himself, unfortunately this is not possible, so the streaming platform has decided to give voice to the people who surrounded him and loved him, creating a docu-series capable of revealing all the nuances of the champion. The project will arrive on the devices of subscribers in 2022, but some important details are already known.

TV series about Ayrton Senna: the first trailer by Netflix

To the announcement made on Twitter was also attached a short trailer that shows a succession of photographs: close-ups of the champion, from his childhood to adulthood. At the end, his face stands out in a more recent color photograph and is the nice one with a half smile that we all know. In the background is his voice delivering one of his most important quotes, "The love of what I do is very important to me. Let's get over things and move on."

In short, a trailer full of pathos, aimed at creating anticipation. This foreshadows the huge investment by Netflix for this title, counting that the arrival of the series is only expected in 2022. So far, we still know little about this content.

The story of Ayrton Senna: what do we know about the TV series?

As announced by the platform itself, the TV series will include eight episodes and will focus on Senna's life since childhood, told by his Brazilian family. It will also talk about unpublished episodes of Beco's existence, as he was nicknamed by his friends. Surely one of the locations will be Brazil, but the filming will cover the whole planet and for the first time the house where he grew up will be shown as well.

Vivian Senna, the champion's sister has declared all her satisfaction for this initiative: "We will tell the story that only a few people know. We are committed to making this project something totally unique and unprecedented."

After all, Senna won 41 Grand Prix and is considered one of the strongest drivers of all time, in fact he was nicknamed Magic. Since he was a child he was fond of racing and challenges and with time he developed a great ability to race even in adverse weather conditions, especially on wet asphalt. This characteristic allowed him to hold the pole position record from 1986 to 2006. Unfortunately his life was cut short by a terrible and unfortunate accident during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix on the Imola track. Nevertheless, his fame as a champion and his example have survived until today. All that remains is to wait for the TV series and discover his incredible life.
