Netflix is preparing to face the last month of the year with many Christmas-themed movies and TV series, and more. The streaming platform has prepared for its users a schedule full of news: from funny comedies to films about Christmas, up to new TV series and great returns.
Among the most anticipated films stands Mank, directed by David Fincher but also The Midnight Sky, directed by and starring George Clooney. There is no shortage of Christmas-themed films, such as Everything Normal next Christmas. We start with a funny comedy with a Christmas background: in Everything Normal Next Christmas we discover the events of Jorge, a gruff and grumpy man who loses consciousness and wakes up after a year. He soon realizes that he is doomed to wake up every Christmas Eve and come to terms with what the other Jorge has been up to during his absence.

Mank - movie from December 4 on Netflix
Mank is the 2020 film directed by David Fincher co-produced by Netflix. It chronicles the life of Herman J. Mankiewicz's screenwriter (Gary Oldman) who worked on Orson Welles' Citizen Kane. It recounts the difficulties involved in the production of the film and the struggle for the rights between Mankiewicz and Welles after he won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

The Incredible Story of the Isle of Roses - movie from December 9 on Netflix
We continue with a beautiful Italian film, directed by Sydney Sibilia. It is the spring of 1968, the engineer Giorgio Rosa (Elio Germano) decides to build an island on the coast of Rimini and proclaims it an independent state, here there are no rules and absolute individual freedom prevails.
The Prom - movie from December 11 on Netflix
The Prom is the spectacular and eagerly awaited film starring Meryl Streep, as Dee Dee Allen and James Corden, as Barry Glickman.
Dee Dee and Barry are two Broadway stars who, due to a flop, have major difficulties related to their careers. To raise their public image they decide to help a girl from Indiana to attend the prom with her girlfriend Alyssa. They will help them along with two other cynical actors, Angie (Nicole Kidman) and Trent (Andrew Rannells).
The cast is stellar and also the film, next to hilarious moments, gives interesting food for thought about issues such as social acceptance and inclusion.
The film will arrive on Netflix on December 11.
The Midnight Sky - on Netflix from December 23
We end our roundup of Netflix exclusive films with The Midnight Sky, which tells the story of a lonely scientist and his solo adventures in the Arctic. In the film he tries to warn some astronauts returning to Earth of the arrival of a sudden global catastrophe.
The film is based on the novel by Lily Brooks-Dalton, The Distance Between the Stars and is directed by and starring George Clooney.
