New images of the OnePlus 7 smartphone confirm a long-awaited feature that will win over photo lovers. Find out what it is
There is great anticipation for the OnePlus 7 smartphone, the top-of-the-line device produced by the Chinese company of the same name. According to official reports, it will be released between May and June 2019 and will have specifications that have nothing to envy to the most popular Samsung Galaxy S10 and iPhone Xs. The latest CAD renders made by youtuber Waqar Khanlasciano leak some interesting details.
The images confirm the presence of a pop-up front camera, which is activated whenever you unlock the smartphone or open the Camera app. This is the most important new feature of the OnePlus 7 and a definite design change. After adopting the notch (in the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T), the Chinese company wanted to further reduce the bezels and decided to put the front camera inside the device. A solution already seen on other Chinese devices and that for the first time also arrives on a OnePlus. Thanks to this solution, the screen will be even larger and more spacious.
Features OnePlus 7
Power and ease of use are the two words used by OnePlus engineers to design their latest top-of-the-line smartphone. The smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch FullHD+ display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC processor backed by 8/12GB of RAM and 12/256GB of internal storage.
Images also confirm the presence on the OnePlus 7 of three vertically aligned cameras, surrounded by a box with rounded edges. The triple cam will have a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, while the third will be a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor that will improve the quality of night photos.
The 3600mAh battery is accompanied by Warp Charge. Finally, the operating system will be Android Pie 9.0 with OxygenOS graphical interface.
Price OnePlus 7
It's hard to make predictions about the price of the OnePlus 7, but surely the company will try to follow the philosophy that has distinguished it so far: to produce smartphones with excellent value for money and cheap. The basic version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage should be priced at around 620 euros. OnePlus 7 release date: late May - early June.
