The OnePlus Buds Z2 are about to arrive in Europe and Italy: here's the latest on the presentation
OnePlus is preparing to renew the range of wireless headphones in Europe, so after having made official last October the OnePlus Buds Z2 in China, is now ready to present them in the Old Continent. The time is ripe to see them from us, and the only unknown is the price.
The OnePlus Buds first generation have been proposed in Italy at a list price of 59 euros, really very competitive. The OnePlus Buds Z2 instead will certainly cost more in light of the fact that in China, where prices are always lower than the Italian ones, cost the equivalent of 67 euros. Consequently the European and Italian price of the second generation will undoubtedly be higher, but we don't know by how much. This is not, however, an increase in itself, because the Buds Z2 have vastly superior specifications among which stands out the active noise cancellation ANC.

In recent hours, however, have arrived several good news about OnePlus Buds Z2. The main one is undoubtedly that which concerns their European presentation, which will take place shortly, very shortly indeed: they will arrive next week, specifically Thursday, December 16 at 14:30 Italian.
The other good news is that the presentation event can be followed by anyone in a very simple and above all interactive. OnePlus in fact has decided to do everything on Instagram, going along with that innovative spirit that has characterized it since its birth. This has been announced by the same company on the official community, adding that the Instagram accounts of various European divisions of OnePlus will be involved, among which, however, Italy is missing.
This does not mean that the new wireless headphones of the company will not arrive in Italy, only that we Italians to follow the interactive presentation will have to keep an eye on the accounts OnePlus Germany, Finland, Belgium, Denmark, France, UK, Romania and Sweden. In essence, we will have to follow the presentation in another language, but it will not be a big problem for those who know a bit of English or French.
At any rate, shortly after the presentation will be available on the official portal of the company, and those who take advantage of the period of pre-orders will benefit from a 5% discount on the list price, still unknown. In China OnePlus Buds Z2 are proposed for the equivalent of 67 euros, so in Italy will certainly cost higher figures due to higher taxes and logistics costs. The hope is that they do not cost more than 100 euros.

Of OnePlus Buds Z2 we already know everything because they were made official in China last October. No secrets then: they have active noise cancellation (ANC), IP55 certified resistance to dust and liquids, a partially waterproof charging case according to the IPX4 standard, 11mm dynamic drivers and Bluetooth 5.2 with support for AAC and SBC codecs.
Interesting autonomy: the 40 mAh of each headset guarantee up to 7 hours of playback with ANC off, up to 5 hours with ANC on. Then there's the 520 mAh of the charging case, which provides 38 hours of listening, 27 hours with ANC.
