A photo published on Twitter shows how will be the new smartphone Google Pixel 4. Discover the design and specifications of the phone
Google has recently presented the low-cost smartphones of the Pixel 3a series, which already circulate the first rumors about the Pixel 4. The device will be launched on the market in several months, both in a standard and a large version, called XL. They are already circulating the first renderings and photos showing the top of the range Google.
Already last March Jonas Daehnert, from his Twitter profile @PhoneDesigner, had shared some anticipations about the new Google device. The designer is back to publish more renderings, increasing curiosity among Pixel fans and insiders. Just as it will happen with the new iPhones 2019, the devices of the Moutain View giant should also have a similar design to the previous models. Of course, there will be some important changes, such as the elimination of the notch replaced by a small slit in the upper right corner of the display. But these are not the only details to attract the attentions of the public.
Google Pixel 4: novelties and confirmations in the new photograph
One of the most obvious novelties, confirmed by this and previous images released, is that the Google Pixel 4 smartphone will have the front camera positioned on the screen in the upper right corner, and another rear one will appear in the same position on the back. The Pixel 4 XL, on the other hand, will probably have a dual camera on both the front and the back. These assumptions were confirmed a few days ago, when a photo was leaked depicting both sides of the Pixel 4. The only difference is that the hole for the front camera is even smaller than previously thought. While the two rear cameras are flanked by an LED flash.
In the photo you can't see the presence of the fingerprint reader, so it will probably be placed under the display, like a lot of other top of the line devices released in this first half of 2019. The color scheme is also quite interesting: the body combines black and gray on the sides, while the back is engraved with the Google logo in light gray. In the front there is practically no faceplate, and the display occupies virtually all the available space.
Google Pixel 4: the specifications
Another important anticipation that is deduced by looking at the photograph is the presence of the Android Q interface. It is not yet known what will be the full name of the next version of Google, but the company should communicate more in the coming months. In addition, both models will have a 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 processor from Qualcomm. The Pixel 4 will have at least 6GB of RAM, although the XL version is expected to include a variant. It's fairly certain that the Pixel 4 XL will have a QHD+ display while the Pixel 4 will include a FullHD+ panel although no information to that effect has surfaced.
When will the Pixel 4 arrive?
Presumably, the new Google smartphones will hit the market in October 2019. People will be able to choose between the standard and XL versions that differ in size and other specifications that are still unclear.
