AnTuTu has released its rankings of the ten most powerful Android smartphones of the month.
As usual, the popular benchmarking platform AnTuTu has published rankings of the most powerful smartphones of the month, one that takes into account only the top of the range while the other of mid-range smartphones.
The period considered in the latest ranking of AnTuTu on the top of the range is the one that goes from 1 to 31 October 2021, and the cross-section that comes out is curious to say the least. In fact, all the products in the ranking have the same chip, namely Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888. In fact, a monologue of the best chip for 2021 of the American manufacturer, which has managed to monopolize the top 10 of the most powerful Android smartphones in the world have made a "tour" on the popular benchmark in October. So the chipmaker can celebrate, although for 2022 the leadership does not seem so obvious.
Classification AnTuTu of the top Android range
In the first place of the ranking is Nubia Red Magic 6, a gaming smartphone that thanks to the Qualcomm chip and 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space managed, on average, to stand in front of the threshold of 850 thousand points. More than 30 thousand points behind is another gaming smartphone with the same chip (obvious) and the same amount of RAM and storage space: despite the almost identical "basic" equipment, ASUS ROG Phone 5 is lagging behind the Nubia, but from the second step of the podium it is difficult to complain.
Just in the past few days, however, was made official the successor ASUS ROG Phone 5s (also in Italy) from which we can expect something more in terms of performance, so the leadership of Nubia Red Magic 6 could have the hours counted. To close the podium is a surprise as Realme GT: not because the smartphone is not valid, absolutely, rather because despite not being a product designed for gaming has managed to approach the "monsters" who occupy the first two steps of the podium thanks to over 810 thousand points average. A truly remarkable result.
Fourth iQOO 7, Android smartphone marketed only in China, as well as the last in the global ranking AnTuTu of October 2021 to have exceeded the threshold of 800 thousand points. From the fifth to the last position it's a sequence of products with very close scores: they are all "squeezed" in 20 thousand points, from 788 thousand points of OnePlus 9 Pro to 768 thousand points of Sony Xperia 1 III.
AnTuTu ranking of mid-range smartphones
The AnTuTu report for the month of October 2021 continues with another ranking, that of the most powerful mid-range Android smartphones passed on the platform in sufficient numbers. The Realme GT Master Edition, thanks to the Snapdragon 778G chip, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space, scores over 535 thousand points, finishing not too far from the last of the top of the range, confirming that by now the mid-range market offers products with quite interesting performance in relation to the price.
And on the mid-range, at least, there is not a monopoly by Qualcomm, even if eight out of ten smartphones have chips from the American company: the outsiders are Huawei Nova 7, sixth, with the Kirin 985 chip and Oppo Reno6, seventh, with the MediaTek Dimensity 900.
