The fall of 2020 for Apple represents the time of the launch of its new devices: in addition to the iPhone 12, will come the new smartwatch, iPad and HomePod
Apple in 2020 had to deal with delays in the production of its new devices caused by the pandemic of Covid-19. Despite the blockages, there are several products that will arrive in the fall: from the new series of iPhone 12 that support 5G connectivity, to the new Apple Watch and iPad.
To date, there are many rumors about Apple's new devices coming between October and December 2020, but to clarify is Bloomberg. The site explains that the Cupertino company is ready to reach the production of 80 million new iPhone 12, for a total of 4 models with different screen sizes and features. The launch of the iPhone 12 series is set for October, but it will not be the only Apple product to be presented. Fans of the "apple" will see the arrival of the new iPad Air, iPad Pro, two new versions of the Apple Watch, as well as the new Beats-branded headphones and a compact HomePod speaker.
Apple, the iPhone 12 coming this fall
The new iPhone 12 series will see four models: iPhone 12 with 5.4-inch Oled display, iPhone 12 Max and iPhone 12 Pro with 6.1-inch display and finally the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 6.7-inch screen. All four will feature support for 5G connectivity and a new squarish design very similar to the iPad Pro, and at least the Pro Max will be equipped with LIDAR camera. The chipset will feature the A14 processor, as well as the operating system will be the iOS 14.
Apple Watch, two versions coming soon
Among the devices ready for launch there are also two versions of Apple Watch coming soon: these are the Apple Watch Series 6, even more powerful, as well as a low-cost model that could take the name of Apple Watch SE and that will take the place of Series 3, still working but now obsolete. A choice, that of producing cheap Apple Watch, to enter the smartwatch market and compete with devices including the Fitbit.
Apple bets on the smart home
Apple is also working on a new speaker to make the home increasingly smart. This fall it could launch HomePod, a low-cost speaker with great sound quality and that supports the Siri voice assistant. The speaker could also be paired with the new Apple TV Box, with a better processor for gaming and an updated remote. The latter Apple device, in particular, could arrive no earlier than 2021.
