In the beta version of WhatsApp for Android have been included filters to edit images taken with the camera present within the application
All major applications have beta versions where new features and functionality are tested. If they are well received by the users, the new features are then transferred to the official application.
This has happened for example for calls and video calls on WhatsApp: first the programmers tested the feature on the beta version and then made it available to all users. In the 2.17.297 beta version of WhatsApp for Android, the programmers have released two new features that could be released soon in the official application as well. We are talking about the filters to add to photos taken with the application's camera and the ability to send money to your friends. These are two new features that could greatly change the use of the platform.
How to insert filters in WhatsApp photos
Using the new feature on WhatsApp is really very simple. To insert a filter in images with WhatsApp, you will have to take the photo through the application and before sending it just swipe down to edit it with the effects. For the moment there are five filters available: Pop, B&W, Cool, Chrome and Film. It is not excluded that in the future will be increased the number of effects to be included in the images.
Send money to your friends with WhatsApp
In the beta version of WhatsApp for Android was also added a feature that in the future could greatly change the use of the application. We are talking about the feauture WhatsApp Paymentswhich allows you to send money to your friends through the UPI (Unified Payments Interface) platform. Unfortunately, for the moment this platform works only in India and therefore the functionality is only for Indian users. But it is not excluded that in the coming months or years support will not be extended to platforms working in Italy as well. If this happens, exchanging money with your friends has never been easier.
