Vodafone increases the cost of two fixed network subscriptions by 2.99 euros. Users who do not change operator will be able to have 30 GB free on smartphones

Vodafone has already started, with a communication through which it announces to some landline customers an increase in the monthly cost of 2.99 euros.
The increase will come from the day 8 December and will apply to customers who have subscribed to the offers Internet Unlimited and Internet Unlimited+. As usual, the increases are justified by the need to cover the costs of a service of the highest quality. The customers affected will soon have to choose whether to passively accept the increase (the sixth since July), or exercise the right of withdrawal at no additional cost and change operator. Also in this case, as happened in the past with Vodafone and other operators, the increase in the monthly price of the fixed network is accompanied by the possibility of having a bonus on mobile data traffic.
Vodafone fixed network increases: which customers will pay more
According to what users reported to the MondoMobileWeb site, which boasts a very active community from this point of view, to see the cost of the subscription increase a few weeks before Christmas will be some fixed network customers activated from February 17, 2019. The tariff plans that will undergo the increase (Internet Unlimited and Internet Unlimited+) are both with unlimited internet traffic and had been "pardoned" in February.
At the time Vodafone eliminated some additional costs (for 5 euros) that had to take over from the second year and had complied with the AGCOM resolution on the free modem. In short, Vodafone will not charge these customers 5 euros from the second year of billing, but will increase the cost of their subscription by 2.99 euros even before the second year.

As telephone companies often do to sweeten the pill for customers, on the occasion of price increases, Vodafone is also giving "affected" customers the opportunity to activate the Extra 30 Giga promotion on the data SIM combined with their fixed Internet subscription. The promotion, which can be activated voluntarily from Vodafone's website only on the data SIM linked to the fixed-line subscription, offers 30 GB of traffic per month indefinitely.
