Since 8:00 a.m. on April 23, Intesa Sanpaolo's home banking has not been working and is not allowing users to complete transactions. What's happening
"Online banking unavailable. We apologize but, due to a technical problem, the online bank is not reachable at the moment. Please try again later". Since this morning Intesa Sanpaolo customers trying to access their online bank account and home banking services are greeted by this message.
The online services of Intesa Sanpaolo are not working since this morning at 8:00, when the first users tried to access their profile, but were greeted by the bad surprise. It is not possible to use any of the home banking services: you cannot check your bank account, pay bills, fines or make transfers. For the moment we do not know the causes of the problem (Intesa Sanpaolo generally speaks of "technical problems"), but surely the technicians are working to solve the inefficiency as soon as possible and give the possibility to users to use their home banking service. We will keep you updated in the coming hours on the downtime of Intesa Sanpaolo online services.
Why Intesa Sanpaolo home banking doesn't work
On Twitter there are many messages from customers reporting that Intesa Sanpaolo home banking service doesn't work. The first inefficiencies were reported at 22:00 on April 22, but it is this morning that the service has gone completely down forcing the company to publish a message of apology.
The reasons that led to the down of Intesa Sanpaolo are not yet known, but at the moment neither the home banking from the website nor the application works and it is impossible to complete any type of operation.
Also on downdetector.it, a website that collects users' reports when a service is not working, there are dozens of messages of complaints from users who are unable to access their home banking service. From the map you can see that the inefficiency is widespread throughout Italy and not only in one province or region.
The Intesa Sanpaolo technicians are certainly working to solve the anomaly and reactivate the home banking service as soon as possible.
Update at 8:00 24 April
The situation is back to normal. Yesterday evening the problem was resolved and users were able to start using the Intesa Sanpaolo home banking service again.
