Does your iPhone battery now last less than half a day? Changing it at Apple authorized centers costs less than you think. Here's the price list
Even iPhone batteries, sooner or later, run out and need to be replaced. As you may already know, since the first iPhone (the historic "Edge" or "2G" of 2007) the battery of the Apple phones is integrated and requires the intervention of an Apple-authorized technician for replacement, otherwise the standard warranty will expire.
Over the years, Apple has never abandoned this policy to which, gradually, many other manufacturers of high-end smartphones have followed. But how much does it cost, today, to change the battery of an iPhone?
How much to change iPhone battery until December 31, 2018
"Today" is the key word: the current prices are in fact destined to change from December 31, 2018, the date when replacing the battery will have a single price for all iPhone models, except the iPhone X: 49 euros. For the top-of-the-line version, the cost of the new battery from next year will be 69 euros. Before that date, however, the price varies depending on the model.

Changing it in iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X models costs 29 euros instead. Change iPhone battery with AppleCare+
If your iPhone, whatever model, is covered by the additional warranty AppleCare+ the battery replacement is always done at no cost, while if the device has suffered damage that prevents the replacement of the battery (typical example: the cracked screen), this problem must be solved before replacing the battery and solving it may involve costs to you.
How to change iPhone battery
To replace an iPhone battery there are two possible procedures. The first is to request a package to be sent to you inside which you can insert the smartphone. The package will then be sent to an Apple service center and the Cupertino company guarantees the repair in 6-8 working days (from when the service center has received the package). Otherwise you can take the device yourself to the nearest repair center or to any Apple Store, but only after making an appointment, or to one of the authorized service centers. In this case the battery replacement can be done within the day, but if the center has a lot of work to do or if a repair is needed before replacing the iPhone battery, then Apple guarantees a maximum processing time of one week.
