Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic won’t even look like a smartwatch

One month after the presentation comes the chance to get more than a glimpse of Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic thanks to a gif published by Evan Blass

From the August Galaxy Unpacked it is said that at least four Samsung-branded products will come out: two foldable Android smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, the true wireless Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds and the Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch, declined in two versions and with at least as many choices in terms of size.

And it is precisely on the next smartwatch of Seoul that focuses the anticipation today came from a voice of "weight" of the technology scene, Evan Blass. Until a few weeks ago it was assumed that would come a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and a Galaxy Watch 4 Active in line with the designations adopted in the past. Then, thanks to the certification obtained by a Thai body, came out the change of course by Samsung for the next generation of its smartwatch: so will arrive Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, declination of the latter unpublished on which, however, have come several advances including today's in which there is the hand of Evan Blass.

The gif on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Active

The technological informant has spread through its Twitter account a gif that portrays a 360-degree Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. It is true that to be sure of something you should always wait for official indications, and it is of course true on this occasion.

But the fact that the portrait of Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic traced by the gif, moreover rather realistic, does not introduce new elements compared to what had already emerged, and that this latest anticipation confirms everything that had already come out in previous weeks indicates that the machine of indiscretions should be in the right track.

There would be no surprise in short if in a month Samsung were to reveal at the Galaxy Unpacked exactly the product of the gif. Which shows up with the same distinctive features anticipated in recent days: a circular display in full classical style (exactly like the Galaxy Watch 3 in the photo), as are the two buttons in the case, a rotating bezel that will serve to control the interface, the silicone straps that, according to Blass, will be available in at least three colors: white, black and gray.

The features of the Samsung smartwatch

Based on the rumors of recent days, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic should be offered in three sizes to fit the wrists and preferences of the widest possible number of fans: 42, 44 or 46 millimeters. It is also rumored that it may be offered with aluminum or stainless steel case, with protective glass specifically for wearable devices Gorilla Glass DX/DX+. Shock protection is also guaranteed by the certification of military standard MIL-STD-810G that will match that IP68 against water and dust.

Big news then on the firmware front with the abandonment of the Tizen operating system in favor of Wear OS by Google, with which Samsung has recently entered into an agreement. There will still be a "family feeling" with previous Samsung wearables thanks to the One UI for smartwatch.
