The official release date of Casa di Carta 5 is here: here's when we'll be able to stream the last season of the TV series.
Fans weren't waiting for anything else after the announcement of the end of filming: the official release date of La Casa di Carta. The fifth and final season will not arrive all at once: the release will be divided into two parts of 5 episodes each and will have to wait until next September.
In La Casa di Carta 5 fans will find their most beloved protagonists again, and also some new faces. The gang of criminals who engage in the ambitious heist has kept fans in suspense, and they will finally get to know the denouement of this suspenseful series. Only last week Netflix in an exciting post on social media had announced the end of filming. And while the release date toto-data went crazy, today a surprise in a press release has finally announced the official dates: September 3, 2021 will arrive the first 5 episodes, but for the second volume will have to wait until December 3, 2021.
Casa di Carta 5: the official release date
Netflix announced in a press release of May 24 the official release date of La Casa di Carta 5. It's two dates, actually, because the fifth and final season of the beloved TV series will arrive in two volumes: a 5-episode one next September 3, and a second concluding volume from December 3 of as many episodes.
Álex Pina, the series' creator, commented, "When we began writing Part 5, in the midst of the pandemic, we realized that we would have to twist the expectations of the classic ten-episode format and used all the tools at our disposal to create the feeling of a season finale or series finale as early as Volume 1."
And he continues: "We chose to use an extremely aggressive approach that would put the gang in a corner. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional plight of the characters. It's a journey through their sentimental map that connects us directly to where they started from."
Casa di Carta 5: The cast of the final season
Season 5 of La Casa di Carta will once again see the main cast members committed to keeping viewers in suspense. The cast includes Úrsula Coberó (Tokyo), Álvaro Morte (The Professor), Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Darko Peric (Helsinki), Hovik Keuchkerian, Enrique Arce (Arturo), Najwa Nimri and José Manuel Poga.
There is also no shortage of new faces, with the arrival of actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre, already known for working in Sense 8, and Patrick Criado, known for La Gran Familia Española. So all that remains is to wait for September to see how the series will evolve and how fans will be ferried to its conclusion.
