Google is working hard to present its new top-of-the-line smartphones by September 2018, here's what we should expect from the Pixel 3 phones
Until now, it's still unclear what project Google had in mind for its line of Android smartphones. It was known for sure that it would be called Pixel 3 and would be presented, as usual, in September, a few days before the end of summer. Little was known, however, about Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL features.
This, at least, until a few hours ago. From Southeast Asia, in fact, have arrived rumors and indiscretions about the next top of the range Google ready to challenge the various Galaxy Note 9, Huawei P20 Pro, iPhone X Plus 2018, OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi Mi 8. The expectations around the device designed in Mountain View, however, are very high: it is the first smartphone made by Google since it acquired patents and know how of HTC, Korean manufacturer always very close to the company of Larry Page and Sergei Brin. On this occasion, Google has made it known that this will not be the case. Only the screens of the Pixel 3 will be provided to the U.S. giant by the company LG. The rest should be, as far as possible, made in-house by Google.

This year again, Google smartphones will come in two different variants. The Google Pixel 3 XL will have the notch, which is the notch for the front camera sensors, and a bezel-less design. The Google Pixel 3, on the other hand, will feature the smaller screen and a design very similar to the previous Google Pixels. Both new phones from Mountain View will have stereo speakers.
On the Pixel 3 technical specifications front, it is almost certain that on board the new Google smartphones we will find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Moreover, according to the usual well-informed, in recent months Google has made contact with Foxconn, the Chinese company that also builds iPhones for Cupertino. In all likelihood, Google also rely on the experience of the multinational electronic components for its Pixel 3.
Design Google Pixel 3
In the meantime, on the Net have already appeared several renderings of the new top-of-the-line smartphone from Google. From the images we can see the two models, Google Pixel 3 XL and Google Pixel 3, the first with notch and the second with reduced screen and small bezels. Interesting also the rear of the devices, where we find a fingerprint sensor and a single camera equipped with Flash placed vertically. Attention especially to the notch, because the release of the Pixel 3 XL should coincide with that of Android P, already optimized for the management of the divided and restricted notification area.
Official launch Google Pixel 3
Google has not yet indicated an official date for the presentation of its new top-of-the-line smartphones. But as already mentioned, it is very likely that Mountain View will launch the Google Pixel 3 on the market between the last weeks of August and the first weeks of September.
