Google Pixel Pass: the subscription includes the phone in installments

Concurrently with the launch of the Pixel 6, Google has announced the all inclusive subscription Google Pixel Pass: here's what it is and what it includes

You could call it an all you can eat subscription the one made official by Google at the same time as the presentation event of the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It's called Google Pixel Pass and allows you to leave behind the individual billing for various Google services including everything, including phone, in a single fee.

Google Pixel Pass is in fact the ideal solution for those who want to enjoy the entire Google ecosystem with the new Pixel 6 paying a single subscription at a favorable price, compared to the purchase of individual services and phones in installments. In essence, you pay with a single installment subscriptions to Google One, YouTube, etc. at a reduced price than if you were to subscribe individually to each service and also the installment for the purchase of the Pixel chosen. Moreover, the Google Pixel Pass subscription includes, in addition to the services and the installment for the Pixel, also an accidental damage insurance that allows access to repairs at extremely favorable costs. It's a "zero worries" deal, which looks a lot like the Apple One plan but, in addition, also includes the phone.

Google Pixel Pass, what it includes

Google Pixel Pass is therefore an all inclusive subscription for real. It doesn't just include the premium versions of various services of the big G, but also the purchase cost - in installments - of the new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

But that's not all, because the subscription provides that every two years a new phone will be provided to the subscriber.

For repairs, there are deductibles or "service fees", as Google defines them, that allow you to reduce a lot the costs of interventions; for example, the replacement of the Pixel 6 Pro display for accidental damage costs just $ 29 in the U.S. to owners of Preferred Care.

Google Pixel Pass, how much does it cost

Google Pixel Pass for the moment seems to be available only in the U.S.: there is no mention of it neither in the German Google Store nor in the French one. There you need $45 per month or $55 per month respectively for Google Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro, and as anticipated includes the installment for the purchase of the smartphone.

We'll have to see if Google will bring Pixel Pass also in Italy when the two new Pixel will be available in us (in early 2022).
