Let's find out which products, including smartphones and notebooks, with Google operating systems on board that could be unveiled in Las Vegas
The International Consumer Electronics Show is just around the corner and rumors about the possible novelties on show are chasing each other non-stop in these last hours. Some products have already been revealed by "stolen" images and specifications to be confirmed, while others are completely shrouded in mystery.
The launch of two convertibles (the ASUS Chromebook Flip 2 and the Samsung Chromebook Pro) with Chrome OS on board are quite likely, for example, which, for the occasion, has introduced some nice features such as compatibility with Android applications. Many are waiting, however, anxiously for the news coming from the new Chinese players, in particular from Honor that, perhaps, will present its 6X and Magic models and find out if they will also be on sale internationally. It is possible that LG and Asus have also chosen the Las Vegas stage to present their latest phone jewels.
ASUS Chromebook Flip 2
The successor to the ASUS Chromebook Flip, compact convertible running Google's operating system, is no longer a mystery since two stores - Newegg and Best Buy - mistakenly published photos and technical specifications. Its presence at the upcoming CES in Las Vegas is almost a given. The Asus Chromebook Flip 2 will show up at the appointment with the classic 2-in-1 design that allows the notebook to fold on itself to be used also as a tablet. Among the most "flashy" new features is the backlit keyboard. The rest of the features, still obviously to be confirmed, describe it with a 12.5-inch display with 1080p resolution, an Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and 2 USB Type-C 3.1 ports. The dimensions are 30 x 21 x 1.4 cm for a weight of 1.2 kg. The price circulating on the net, published on Newegg's page, then promptly removed, was $449. We do not know, however, the details of its arrival in Italy.
Samsung Chromebook Pro
Also of this product we already know quite a lot even before the launch - most likely scheduled at CES in Las Vegas - because of some images and specifications rather reliable and detailed. The Samsung Chromebook Pro, based of course on Chrome OS, is a high-end convertible, so with the ability to rotate the display 360 degrees to be used as a tablet. Rumors speak of a 12.3-inch display with a resolution of 2,400×1,600 pixels, a hexa core Rockchip processor (2 Cortex-A72 and 4 Cortex-A53) at 2 GHz, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of flash memory, expandable via microSD. There is no shortage of WiFi and Bluetooth connections, and there would be two USB Type-C ports.

Another model that could be unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas, although rumors circulating on the web speak of its launch only in China. We'll see. Meanwhile Honor Magic is a very special model for some innovative features attributable to the presence of an artificial intelligence platform inside. Not surprisingly, it has been christened "magic". This smartphone would be able to interact with the user and perform some actions automatically as, for example, turn on the flashlight if we are in the dark, activate the mode "in car" if we are behind the wheel, or launch the navigator if we are walking to give us information on what's around. The Honor Magic is also very interesting from a technical point of view with an aluminum body wrapped in two curved glass and a 5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It also doesn't lack a fingerprint reader.

2017 is the year of the landing. But we're not talking about the one on the moon, but the arrival at the CES in Las Vegas of Xiaomi. In fact, for the Chinese company is the first presence at the fair dedicated to technology and is ready to amaze the world with the latest devices coming out of its laboratories. For the Chinese manufacturer the appointment is really very important. In addition to being the first appearance, this year's CES should act as a prelude to the commercialization of Chinese products on American soil. After LaEco, Xiaomi is also ready to conquer a small slice of the rich North American market. For this reason, the catalog on display at CES will include a little bit of everything, from TVs to drones, but many are hoping to see the Mi5 and Mi Note 2 smartphones live. Although the Chinese company has not leaked anything, some sources are ready to bet that Xiaomi will present a new version of the Mi Mix, the full-screen smartphone that characterized the end of 2016.
LG Smartphone
It is confirmed that LG will be present at CES in Las Vegas with a handful of new Android smartphones in tow. On the "menu" would be expected is the K3, K4, K8 and K10. The Stylo 3 is also expected to be present at the appointment with Android Nougat on board as some models of the K family, while the lower-end devices seem to still remain in the hands of Marshmallow. The K10 and the Stylo 3 would be equipped with an octa-core chipset, while the others with a classic quad-core one. This new batch of smartphones should allow LG to work calmly on the development of the new LG G6, the top of the range expected at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
ASUS ZenFone 4
Last but not least. Asus could unveil right at CES in Las Vegas the ZenFone 4 series. The novelties would concern a renewed design, new chipsets and Android Nougat. It should not be forgotten that the ZenFone 3 was launched only last May at Computex, but the Taiwanese company is already ready to present to the general public the new top of the range. The announcement was made through a post on Twitter and at the moment the only sure news concerns the chipset: the Asus ZenFone 4 will mount a Snapdragon 835, Qualcomm's latest creature and that will ensure 50% more power than the Snapdragon 801.
