At the moment only available on iOS, the new feature facilitates the work of those who manage multiple profiles
It is the social network that excels in the 13-17 age group, has the highest penetration rate and level of engagement and is proposed as the most used and convincing platform to tell their story: the rise of Instagram continues and it is no coincidence that, numerous users, choose to own more than one account.
There are those who have a public account, in which they share a bit of everything; a more "cared for" account with "studied" posts, in the hope of becoming an influencer and earning with the Shopping feature, and private accounts just for a few friends in the style of Fostagram. In short, accounts a bit for all tastes and that can be managed together thanks to the tools made available by the social platform. And, to further facilitate the task for those who find themselves managing multiple accounts at the same time, Instagram has introduced the ability to simultaneously publish the same photo on one or more profiles of which you are managers.
How it works publishing the same post on multiple profiles
Sharing the same photo on multiple profiles at the same time will not require much effort. First of all, you need to manage at least two profiles (the maximum is five) with the same app: respecting this "prerequisite", every time we want to publish an image on Instagram we will be asked on which account to publish it. To choose, all we have to do is activate or deactivate some "switches" that will allow us to dispose of the practice easily and quickly.
More than a "regram" (the relaunch of a post by another user on your wall), this is an "auto regram" that will come in handy for influencers, creatives and social media managers: already facilitated by the ability to quickly switch from the management of a profile to that of another in a few touches, the new feature will allow you to convey their work quickly, simultaneously and targeted profiles stored in the app.
The limits of auto regram
Although the new feature makes the management of multiple profiles elastic, preventing users from republishing from scratch or using third-party applications to relaunch the same content, the ability to relaunch another user's post on your wall is still off limits. The reason? To dodge the risk of lagging active social players, pushing them to produce new content rather than replicate others'.
As confirmed by Adam Mosseri, Mark Zuckerberg's right-hand man, auto regram is only available forĀ iOS users. No answer about the arrival on Android: in the meantime, the suggestion is to use the novelty with caution, keeping in mind that the style of each profile is unique and the audience diverse.
