The arrival of Iliad on the Italian market has forced phone companies to run for cover: TIM, for example, has launched low-cost tariffs with 20GB or 30GB of Internet data, while Vodafone has preferred to launch a new virtual operator that relies on its own network. Ho Mobile was launched on June 22 with a special tariff that for €6.99 offered unlimited minutes and SMS and 30GB of 4G data traffic (with limited download and upload speeds).
The offer was valid until July 31 and allowed Ho Mobile to achieve good success, so much so that the new virtual operator was forced to limit the number of cards that could be requested online to 500. To continue to conquer new users, Ho.Mobile launched from August 1, 2018 a new offer that includes unlimited calls and SMS and 40GB of data traffic, 10 gigabytes more than the previous rate, at 7.99 per month. This is a commercial move that seeks to go to cover the new Iliad offer that at 6.99 euros offers the same conditions.
The new Ho Mobile offer
From August 1, 2018, for all people interested in Ho Mobile is available a new offer that provides 40GB of Internet connectivity, unlimited calls and SMS at 7.99 euros per month (payment is made every 30 days). Compared to the launch offer valid until July 31, this is 10GB more data traffic, paying only 1 euro more per month. The only limitation concerns the download and upload speed: you will only be able to surf in 4G Basic at a maximum speed of 30Mbps.
What does the new offer Ho.Mobile
The offer of Vodafone's virtual operator does not include any extra cost: once the 40GB monthly, browsing will be blocked: to continue using Facebook and WhatsApp will be enough to make a recharge and start a new cycle of one month. In addition, services for remaining credit, call waiting, hotspot surfing and call transfer are included.
As for roaming, the new Ho Mobile offer allows you to use all minutes, SMS and 2.5 gigs for surfing when traveling in the European Union.
How to activate the new Ho Mobile offer for €7.99
To subscribe to a Ho Mobile card there are several options: online booking with free shipping to your home and activation via video call; online booking with pickup and payment at a newsstand; purchase at one of 3,00 Ho Mobile outlets. The cost for the purchase of the Ho Mobile card with the new rate of 7.99 euros is 17.99 euros: 9.99 euros for the SIM and activation to which must be added 8 euros for the first charge (from which will be deducted the renewal of 7.99 euros).
