The South Korean company announced that next October 11, 2018 will launch the new mid-range smartphone with four rear and vertical cameras
Samsung recently announced a new event, scheduled for October 11, 2018, in which to announce to the media and technology enthusiasts the mid-range Galaxy A family. In the program, according to the usual well-informed, there should be the presentation of two devices.
Samsung, which in recent days had announced its intention to focus more strongly on mid-range smartphones, providing them with advanced components and features, should remove the veils from the Galaxy A 2018 and Galaxy A9 that, as the name suggests, should have features that bring it closer to the Galaxy S9 (according to some should even mount the Snapdragon 845, the best there is today on the market of SoC). Moreover, the smartphone should have as many as 4 rear cameras and should be the first mobile device ever to feature this. The Galaxy A7 2018, on the other hand, should have a less pushed spec sheet, but would mount as many as three rear sensors. In short, the South Korean company seems to want to reverse its business philosophy, aiming to strengthen the field of top of the range as well as that of smartphones from the medium-high features.
Galaxy A9: the new mid-range Samsung
The camera with four sensors of the new Samsung A9 will be separated from the rest of the body of the device thanks to a black notch. A notch that will make the sensors stand out from the color of the case, which will be black (lighter than the camera notch), blue or pink. The device in the back will also have the physical sensor for fingerprints. Also, the design of the back of the device will be slightly curved. On the upcoming Galaxy A9 2018 we will find both the 3.5mm headphone jack and the physical button to activate voice and smart searches with Bixby, Samsung's artificial intelligence-powered voice assistant. Samsung's new mid-range device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and backed by 4GB of RAM. To find out the internal storage sizes and battery capacity we will instead have to wait until next October 11, 2018 when Samsung will unveil to the world all the features of its new smartphone. As for the price there are already some rumors that speak of a figure close to 500 euros for the Galaxy A9 2018 edition.
