There was much talk about it in the pre-Covid-19 months and now it seems that the time has come: Sky is ready to make its debut in the world of fixed telephony. As told by the newspaper La Repubblica, the satellite broadcaster is organizing an event with great guests for June 16, the day in which the birth of the new telephone operator for the fixed network should be made official.
Sky will rely on the Open Fiber network, as announced by Maximo Ibarra, Sky's new CEO in Italy, arrived in the company with the aim of ferrying it into a new era where the word diversification will be the central pivot of the economic strategy. These months of closure and pandemic have been used by Sky to prepare in the best possible way for the debut, both from a commercial and communicative point of view: the new advertising campaign is ready, as well as offers designed specifically for customers.
