Netflix launches the fourth season of The Crown: streaming starting next November 15. Here's everything you need to know
A post on Twitter to announce the arrival of The Crown 4. Starting next November 15 on the Netflix streaming platform will be available the final season of one of the most popular and award-winning television series of recent years, with three Golden Globes and eight Emmys to its credit.
In the fourth season Queen Elizabeth II will be played by Olivia Colman, but there will be two new protagonists: Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Elizabeth Debicki who will play the role of Lady Diana Spencer. Netflix has also confirmed that two more seasons of The Crown are planned, with the sixth one being the final one. A decision that was also explained by the creator and screenwriter Peter Morgan, who stressed in an interview as a sixth season was necessary to do justice to the complexity of the story.
The Crown 4, what will happen in the new season
The Crown television series streaming on Netflix tells the life of Queen Elizabeth II of England from the post-war period to the new millennium. After the first two seasons, in which the queen was played by actress Claire Foy, seasons 3 and 4 star Olivia Coleman, Oscar winner for "The Favorita." In the fourth season we tell the events between 1977 and 1990, in particular enters the scene the relationship between Prince Charles and Lady Diana. Just the wedding of Charles and Diana will be the central plot point of this season, so much so that the new official trailer ends with Diana walking alone in Buckingham Palace in her wedding dress.

If you want to catch up on the old seasons of The Crown you can do so on Netflix and watch them streaming. To do so, however, you need to be a subscriber to the platform and use one of the supported devices. To watch The Crown streaming you need to launch Netflix, enter your credentials and then search for the TV series in the dedicated box. The TV series banner will appear on the screen and clicking on it will open the dedicated tab: selecting the episode will start streaming.
