Since 16:00 on June 27, 2019, problems are reported with the TIM network: users can neither make nor receive calls
The TIM network is experiencing problems in the last few hours: on downdetector.it, a website used by users to highlight inefficiencies, the reports about a possible TIM down are increasing. Reading people's comments, the problems seem to concern the cellular line that does not allow either to make or receive calls. No problems, however, regarding the connection to the data network: you can send messages on WhatsApp and surf the Internet.
The problems should not affect all of Italy, but only a part of the country. Seeing the map on downdetector.it, most of the reports come from Northern Italy. Per il momento non si conoscono le cause del disservizio, ma potrebbe dipendere da problemi presenti solamente in alcune antenne localizzate nel Nord Italia. Non si può parlare di un vero e proprio TIM down, dato che il numero delle segnalazioni è di poco superiore alle duecento. I tecnici di TIM sono sicuramente al lavoro per risolvere il disguido tecnico e già nelle prossime ore dovrebbe tornare tutto alla normalità. Seguiremo la vicenda e vi terremo aggiornati.

Dalle ore 16:00 del 27 giugno si segnalano dei problemi con la rete TIM. Gli utenti parlano di difficoltà nel ricevere ed effettuare chiamate con il proprio smartphone, mentre non c’è nessun problema con la rete dati: si può navigare e mandare messaggi su WhatsApp. As you can see from the image above, the reports are mainly concentrated in Northern Italy.
