Fortnite updates to version 5.3 and introduces a new object to move on the maps and new powerful weapons
Fortnite updates with patch 5.3 and the big news of one of the most played video games at the moment on iPhone, computer and console (the Android app is coming soon) is the Portable Slit. What is it about? Simple, a portal that we can carry with us and use if necessary to move quickly on a map.
The new item Fortnite Portable Slit can be carried in the inventory as any other accessory of the many present within the famous video game by Epic Games. Once activated we will be able to use it together with our teammates to move around in the sky and move very quickly within the map. It is the best tool to take our enemies by surprise or a good technique to escape a storm that is looming over us or our team.
How does the Portable Slit work in Fortnite 5.3
Once the Portable Slit object is activated we will have 10 seconds to take advantage of its benefits and enter into flight mode. Beware, however, in these 10 seconds the Portable Slit could also be used by our enemies that if they were able to enter the area of action of the object would receive the same benefits as us. It is therefore necessary to use the Portable Slit cunningly and only at the right moments, away from prying eyes. Where can you find the Portable Fissure in a battle? Simple, in chests, in vending machines, in supply deliveries and in piƱatas. Besides of course the possibility to buy it in-app with V-Bucks, Fortnite's virtual coins.
The other new features in Fortnite 5.3
The new features with Fortnite's patch 5.3 don't end with the Portable Slit. From the update also comes a new timed mode. This time the winner will be the one who first passes the "Real Score". The Real Score is a sum reached by each player or team by collecting coins, killing opponents or opening chests. The amount to win with Real Score is 2,000 points for the single player, 3,500 for the team of two players and 4,500 for teams of four. As for the new modes should also be noted the introduction of a variant never seen in the campaigns Horde, which is called Horde Challenge of the third week. These are, for those who don't know them, survival levels against hordes of computer-controlled enemies. Among the minor new features will be new types of sticky grenades while the reload time of the shotgun has been reduced from 0.96 seconds to 0.88 seconds. Finally, with patch 5.3 here is also a new weapon: the Assault Rifle Pop. We're talking about a new double-barrelled rifle that has great firepower and excellent accuracy, but the disadvantages include a reduced range and high recoil.
