Solos is the new Amazon Original TV series set to take audiences by storm in 2021. Produced by David Weil, it is an anthology drama consisting of seven episodes. Although the plot of each episode is independent, there is a common thread that binds each story: the exploration of human bonds.
Based on the experience of individual characters, Solos seeks to understand how human relationships are born and what unites them. Weil himself explained that he created this special project with the desire to tell stories that speak to the sense of humanity that unites people. Amazon has just unveiled the stellar cast, the flagship of the series: there will also be Oscar winners Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and Anne Hathaway. Alongside them will also work other actors from the world of cinema and TV series. The series will be available exclusively to all Amazon Prime Video subscribers.
Solos plot: what it will be about
Solos follows in the footsteps of other anthology series that in recent years have conquered the public: from Black Mirror to American Horror Story.
Each episode will therefore have both characters and different plot. It will start from the life of a person to investigate the construction of human relationships, from friendships to love. For the moment, the plot of the individual episodes is unknown, but showrunner David Weil has revealed a few details:

Le storie saranno ambientate in città e tempi storici differenti, anche i punti di vista cambieranno: l’obiettivo è raccontare le vicende più disparate da diversi punti di vista per giungere poi ad una conclusione, ovvero che tutti siamo accomunati da un senso di umanità, a prescindere dalle nostre vite apparentemente molto diverse tra loro.
La serie sarà prodotta da Amazon Studios. Cambierà anche la regia dei diversi episodi: Taylor-Johnson, Zach Braff e Tiffany Johnson si alterneranno a Weil, alla sua prima esperienza dietro la cinepresa.
