At the beginning of June, the different video streaming platforms announced the new releases of the month: from movies to TV series, there are many new titles to discover. Amazon Prime Video is among the services most loved by users. Thanks to a careful choice of titles, the platform has managed to distinguish itself from Netflix and the others, offering an exclusive schedule.
At the side of external productions, Amazon Prime Video also boasts a lot of original content. Not to mention that the service is included in an extensive benefits package designed for Amazon's most loyal customers. Over time, the platform has grown and month after month has increased its offer, until the month of June. Among the most anticipated of the month, we find the first season of the telefilm produced by Amazon Original, titled El Presidente that narrates the events of the FIFA Gate of 2015, but also the last season of Future Man. Let's see in detail all the most interesting content to follow.
Amazon Prime Video: June news
We start with streaming TV series: those who are subscribers to the service will already have a wide choice, but in June will arrive some unmissable titles, most of them are original Amazon productions.
Future Man is definitely among the most popular Amazon TV series. The third and final season was released on June 1, 2020. The main characters Josh, Wolf, and Tiger once again find themselves traveling through time, but this time the goal will be to remedy the chaos created in the various historical periods they went through in the previous seasons.
On June 5, however, it will be the turn of another highly anticipated mini-series, El Presidente, which chronicles the sports scandal involving FIFA in 2015. The content is released in more than 200 countries worldwide exclusively on Prime Video.
The third original Amazon title is Dispatches from Elsewhere, airing June 15. It consists of 10 episodes and is based on the documentary The Institute by Spencer McCall. It's very much talked about abroad and for this reason it's highly anticipated also by Italian audiences.
Among the already popular TV series, instead, in June we'll find the first two seasons of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and the third and fourth seasons of The Magicians starting from the middle of the month.
New Amazon Prime Video: June movies
As well as many TV series, the platform will also offer many streaming movies to be enjoyed quietly on the couch, just like Netflix and similar services. On June 10 will be available L'Amore a Domicilio (Love at Home), the feature film directed by Emiliano Corapi. The cast includes many talented actors such as Miriam Leone and Simone Liberati.
Remaining in the Italian vein, from June 15 it will be possible to see Il Ladro di Giorni, a drama film directed by Guido Lombardi. It tells the story of Salvo (Massimo Popolizio), an 11-year-old boy who hasn't seen his father Vincenzo (Riccardo Scamarcio) for 7 years. The latter is in fact in prison, but is released on the day of his son's communion and decides to go and see him.
Knives Out - Dinner with Murder is another very interesting film available from June 5. The film is directed by Rian Johnson and is a detective story in which the investigator Benoit Blanc must find out who killed the writer Harlan Thrombey. In the cast we find Daniel Craig, Chris Evans and many other familiar faces. In the second half of the month will be released other titles, such as D.N.A.: Definitely Not Suitable (available from June 19) Halloween (June 20) and Belle Et Sébastien 3: Friends Forever (from June 22). These are just a few of the movie and TV series titles available starting in June on Amazon Prime Video. All that's left is to log on to the platform and add them to your list in anticipation of being able to watch them all.
